This Final Degree Project compiles the process and result of a theoretical-practical investigation, the conclusion of which ends in a 2D animated short film based on the classic fairytale The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen (year 1844) reinterpreted from a personal perspective. The main theme of the project is the internal change that human beings experience at certain times; that kind of metamorphosis that can appear after a loss, a breakup, or a move, among other experiences. The proposal reflects on the idea that we cannot always be the same and that change is inevitable, understanding this process not as something negative, but as a natural and essential part of life. Through the character of Kay, we will observe the processes of change and how these can affect the character himself, his perception and his surroundings.
